Odds to Win 2015 NFL SUPER BOWL XLIX after week 11

Let’s take a look at the top 6 odds to win Super Bowl XLIX (according to Bet365) and who I think will win based on what I saw in week 11 of the 2014 NFL Season, this is something I will do each week during the season.

Team: current Bet365 odds – weekly result  (season record)

Green Bay Packers: 4/1 – Won 53-20 vs Eagles. (7-3)  The Packers moved to 5-0 at home as they stomped the Eagles 53-20. It was their 2nd straight game where they scored 50 or more points. The team is 8th in the league in passing yards and 18th in rushing yards. They rank 1st in the league in points with 33 points per game. Their defense is 25th in the league in yards allowed per game and 17th in the league in points allowed with 22.5 per game. This week they play at  4-6 Minnesota.

Denver Broncos: 9/2- Lost 22-7  at Rams. (7-3)  The Broncos lost for the 2nd time in their last 3 games as they were beaten 22-7 at St. Louis. The team is 2nd in the league in passing yards and 27th in rushing yards. They rank 5th in points with 29.3 points per game. Their defense is 5th in the league in yards allowed per game and 16th in the league in points allowed with 22.4 per game. This week they play at home versus 6-4 Miami.

NEhelmetNew England Patriots: 9/2 – Won 42-20 at Colts. (8-2) The Patriots won their 6th straight with a 42-20 pasting of the Colts in Indianapolis. The team is 9th in the league in passing yards and 13th in rushing yards. They rank 2nd in the league in points with 32.3 points per game. Their defense is 16th in the league in yards allowed per game and 13th in the league in points allowed with 21.8 per game. This week they play at home versus 7-3 Detroit.

Arizona Cardinals: 10/1 – Won 14-6 versus Lions. (9-1) The Cardinals were victorious for the 6th game in a row as they hung on 14-6 at home versus the Lions. The team is 12th in the league in passing yards and 30th(t) in rushing yards. They rank 14th in points with 23.7 points per game. Their defense is 13th in the league in yards allowed per game and 3rd in the league in points allowed with 17.6 per game. This week they play at 6-4 Seattle.

SeattlehelmetSeattle Seahawks: 14/1 – Lost 24-20 at Chiefs. (6-4) The Seahawks had their 3 game winning streak snapped with a 24-20 defeat at Kansas City. The team is 30th in the league in passing yards and 1st in rushing yards. They rank 10th in the league in points with 26 points per game. Their defense is 3rd in the league in yards allowed per game and 12th in the league in points allowed with 21.5 per game. This week they play at home versus 9-1 Arizona.

San Francisco 49ers: 14/1 – Won 16-10 at Giants. (6-4)  The 49ers have now won 2 straight games after their 16-10 victory at the Giants. They now have the best record in the league. The team is 23rd in the league in passing yards and 8th in rushing yards. They rank tied for 20th in points with 21.1 points per game. Their defense is 4th in the league in yards allowed per game and 10th(t) in the league in points allowed with 21.2 per game. This week they play at home versus 3-7 Washington.

With the Broncos loss this week I must move on to another team being my favorite to win it all this season. The Packers are firing on all cylinders on offense right now. They have scored 50 or more points in back to back games and quarterback Aaron Rodgers is just on fire. The rest of their schedule looks favorable as only 3 of their last 6 games are against opponents with a .500 or better record. I think the Green Bay Packers are the best bet to win Super Bowl XLIX at 4/1. (Bet365)
